Supported nationally by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and AMVETS (American Veterans), this patriotic campaign pays tribute to Old Glory and the great country for which she stands by rallying communities around the American flag and honoring local troops and veterans. Johnstown VFW has donated the use of over 25 American flags, to be displayed throughout the mall from Memorial Day through Flag Day. A display will also be set-up in the mall’s center court, where customers can show their patriotic pride by signing a Flag Day Pledge Card - - a promise to fly the flag on Flag Day. They will also receive a free American stick flag.
“We are so proud to work with great organizations, like the Heath American Legion and Johnstown VFW, to honor our great country, our troops and veterans who have sacrificed so much, and especially honor those we’ve lost serving our country,” said Dustin Christensen, General Manager.
