$7,500 to be Awarded to Local Area Schools
Earning for Learning turns money spent at Indian Mound Mall
into cash prizes for local schools
Heath, Ohio(July 25, 2007) –Indian Mound Mall officials announced today that for the third year in a row, the mall will award $7,500 to local area schools this fall. Indian Mound Mall drives its commitment to children’s education through Earning for Learning, formerly known as Tools for Your School. This is a partnership program designed to promote and support education in local school districts. Earning for Learning encourages local residents to shop at Indian Mound Mall over an eight-week promotional period to earn “points,” and ultimately the chance to win cash prizes, for the school of their choice.
“We are excited to be able to offer this program again this year to the LickingCountyschools” says Sherri Velliquette, Marketing Director for Indian Mound Mall. “We feel that a quality education is a very important issue in the lives of our children, so any way that we can contribute in this way, we are thrilled!”
Now through September 30th, each dollar that customers spend can be turned into points for the school of their choice. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are “Double-Point Days” and receipts from those select days earn the school double points. Listen to WCLT, T-100, for the “code word of the day” and your school will win triple points!Shoppers simply redeem their receipts for points at the Mall Management Office located in the food court. (Some restrictions may apply)
Indian Mound Mall will keep a tally of the running total of each school’s points. You can log on to www.indianmoundmall.com or check the Food Courtfor a list of the top 10 schools. At the end of the contest, the top three schools will be awarded cash prizes of $3,500, $2,500, and $1,500 respectively. Shoppers have until October 1st, 2007to turn in their receipts at the Indian Mound Mall management office.
Last year, over 61,000 points were totaled for the LickingCountyarea schools. Blessed Sacrament, last year’s grand prize winner, was awarded $3,500.
Every school in the LickingCountyarea is eligible to participate in the contest and are not required to sign-up. Indian Mound Mall encourages residents to show their school spirit by participating in the Earning for Learning program and turn their shopping dollars into money for your schools.
