INDIAN MOUND MALL’S ANNUAL MAGICAL NIGHT OF GIVING EVENT TO RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
Heath, Ohio—August, 14th, 2006— Indian Mound Mall officials announced today that for the eighth year in a row, local charities and non-profit organizations in the Licking County area will receive a huge boost over the 2006 holiday season, thanks to Glimcher Realty Trust’s annual Magical Night of Giving fundraising event. Glimcher Realty Trust is based in Columbus, Ohioand owns and manages 27 regional and super-regional shopping centers in the United States. This year, 21 properties will participate in the event, which will be held on various weekends throughout November and early December.
This year’s event at Indian Mound Mall will take place on November 19th from 4 to 9 pm. The mall hosts Magical Night of Giving as its official kick-off to the holiday season and an opportunity for guests to enjoy an evening of exclusive savings throughout the mall, prize giveaways and holiday entertainment. The mall joins with many local non-profit organizations that support this community event by selling tickets, for which they keep 100% of the profits. In past years, Indian Mound Mall’s event has attracted over 5,500 participants and raised over $30,000 for non-profit organizations in the area. “This revenue will help us to continue to provide the invaluable services to Licking County residents such as assistance to local disaster victims and life saving educational classes,” states Rod Cook, Executive Director for the American Red Cross of Licking County.
“Last year’s event was a huge success for all volunteers and non-profit organizations involved, says Marketing Director, Sherri Velliquette, and we are now actively seeking non-profit, volunteer and sponsorship partners for the 2006 Magical Night of Giving”.
