2011 Official Rules & Regulations

This year’s program begins on August 15, 2011 and ends on September 25, 2011.   Customers must present receipts to the Indian Mound Mall Management office (Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 5:30pm) or drop them off after office hours at the receipt drop box in front of the Mall Management Office. Qualifying receipts MUST BE FROM a retailer at the Indian Mound Mall, on purchases made during the program period ONLY, and must be turned in by 5pm on Monday, September 26, 2011.               

Any public or private K-12, elementary, middle, or high school in Licking County is eligible to participate.  Pre-Schools, colleges and other post-high school institutions are not eligible.

There will be two separate contests:   One with three weekly prizes awarded to schools with the highest points each week, based on student ratio, and one with weekly prizes awarded to customers by random drawings of entry forms from receipts turned in each week. For the purpose of this program, a week is considered Monday – Sunday.

Receipts may only be used one time and will be marked when presented to the Indian Mound Mall Management office. The receipt must be the original.  Duplicate receipts, photo copies, faxes and internet orders will not be accepted.  Purchases of faxes and photo copies cannot be redeemed for points.  Credit Card payments, even if made to a store at the mall, will not be accepted for points. Any receipt left at the drop box in front of the mall management office not picked up by October 1, 2011 will be forfeited and shredded. You may also request to have the receipts mailed back to you by providing a self-addressed, stamped envelope when turning in your receipts to the drop box.

Store employees may not request, or copy, receipts from store customers in order to redeem them for points.  Additionally, stores (or store employees) may not hold receipts to give to schools to redeem for points.  Solicitation of stores by schools to hold receipts for such schools is prohibited.

For the weekly prizes to schools, each dollar spent equals one (1) point. Receive one (1) point for every dollar spent at BP or Duchess Shoppes when turning in receipts from BP or Duchess shops dated 8/15/11-9/25/11 along with at least one receipt from an Indian Mound Mall retailer dated 8/15/11-9/25/11. Any less than .50¢ will be rounded down to the nearest dollar, and anything equal to or greater than .50¢ will be rounded up to the nearest dollar (Ex. $10.45 = 10 points and $10.56 = 11 points).  Purchases made on Tuesdays and Wednesdays count as double points. Additional opportunities for special points will be announced via the Indian Mound Mall Facebook and Twitter sites. The three schools with the highest points per student ratio will determine the winning schools.  The total number of points for each school is divided by the number of students enrolled in the school, and all schools regardless of size will start with a minimum student enrollment of 150.  Enrollment numbers will be provided by the schools. The in – mall tote board will be updated weekly with the leading schools according to points per student ratio.

At the end of each week – the top three schools with the highest points per student ratio will win cash prizes:  $500 to first, $250 to second and $100 to third.

  • WEEKLY PRIZE FOR SCHOOLS - $500 TO FIRST, $250 TO SECOND AND $100:
    - WEEK 1 - 8/15/11 – 8/21/11 - $500 TO FIRST, $250 TO SECOND AND $100.
    - WEEK 2 - 8/22/11 – 8/28/11 - $500 TO FIRST, $250 TO SECOND AND $100.
    - WEEK 3 - 8/29/11 – 9/4/11 - $500 TO FIRST, $250 TO SECOND AND $100.
    - WEEK 4 - 9/5/11 – 9/11/11 - $500 TO FIRST, $250 TO SECOND AND $100.
    - WEEK 5 - 9/12/11 – 9/18/11 - $500 TO FIRST, $250 TO SECOND AND $100.
    -  WEEK 6 - 9/18/11 – 9/25/11 - $500 TO FIRST, $250 TO SECOND AND $100.

For the weekly prizes to customers, the individual whose entry form is drawn at random will win a $50 Gift Card to select Indian Mound Mall Retailer, different retailer each week. Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older on the date of completing entry form in order to participate. When a customer brings in a receipt(s) to apply towards a school of their choice, they will receive one entry form per receipt. Entry forms must be filed out completely at the time they are issued and immediately returned to Indian Mound Mall. Following the completion of each week, a member of Indian Mound Mall Management will randomly choose one entry form and that customer will win a $50 Gift Card to select Indian Mound Mall Retailer, different retailer each week. All remaining entries will be discarded and the weekly drawing will start over.

Employees of the Indian Mound Mall, their management agents, affiliates and subsidiaries and their families are not eligible to enter or win.

No purchase is necessary to enter the weekly drawing for customers, though.  To enter without a purchase, hand print your first/last name, street address, city, state, zip code and telephone number including area code on a 3” X 5” card and mail in a hand addressed envelope to:

Limit one entry per envelope.  Limit one free entry, per person, per week. Mailed entries must be postmarked by September 26, 2011 and received no later that September 27, 2011.  

Each Monday after each program week ends (August 22, 2011 - September 26, 2011), before the Indian Mound Mall opens for business at 10am, one entry form will randomly be chosen as the winner of a $50 Indian Mound Mall Select Retailer Gift Card redeemable at select Indian Mound Mall retailers, all remaining entries will be discarded and the contest starts over. Contact information from the entry forms will be used by Indian Mound Mall, our retailers and partners to notify you of future events, sales and promotions. You may opt out at anytime.

Winners will be contacted within 5 business days of the conclusion of each program week by phone, email and/or USPS mail. Prizes awarded to schools will be distributed within 45 days after the completion of the program. Prizes awarded to customers may be picked up with a valid picture ID at the Indian Mound Mall Management office Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 5:30pm. Prizes awarded to customers not redeemed by October 31, 2011 will be forfeited.

Indian Mound Mall Management Office will make the final decision regarding any dispute.

Indian Mound Mall reserves the right to refuse suspicious or fraudulent receipts, or any receipt transactions breaking the above rules.

Indian Mound Mall reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without notice.
